"Uncle" Dudley is Mary Batson's supposed uncle (first appearance: Wow Comics No. 18, Oct 1943: "Mary Marvel Meets Her Uncle Marvel"). He has no super-powers to speak of, nevertheless he is part of the Marvel Family along with Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel, Jr., Mary Marvel, and Hoppy the Marvel Bunny.
