Shadow Lass got her powers from the same source as Shadow Kid, also a Talokite, although his powers are different. Shadow Lass became a heroine of her planet: Talok VIII. (Adv No. 365, Feb 1968: "Origins and Powers of the Legion of Super-Heroes")
